What is SSL?
GHEI’s Summer Serve & Learn (SSL) Program offers participants the chance to be immersed in a rural Ghanaian community and work alongside local staff members in support of our year-round health and education programs.
GHEI offers two different SSL experiences!
Both the Community Health Evaluation and the Girls Empowerment Camp offer program participants a truly immersive, vibrant, and unique opportunity to do hands-on global development work with local leaders, while exploring Ghana's most significant historical sights, natural beauty and welcoming culture!
