Rebecca Dudovitz, MD MS
Director of GHEI Pediatric Resident Education & Board Member
Rebecca is a Director of GHEI Pediatric Resident Education and a board member. She has worked with GHEI since 2005 on malaria prevention and the development of a pediatric global health rotation and partnership with UCLA Pediatrics. She is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of General Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, where she practices general pediatrics and conducts research focused on the relationship between academic achievement and health.
She graduated from the UCLA medical school and completed her residency in pediatrics in the Community Health and Advocacy Track at UCLA Medical Center. She then completed a health services research fellowship through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Program, during which she received a master’s in health services from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
