Kate is the treasurer for GHEI and a member of the executive board. She started working for GHEI in 2007 while attending college at Cornell University. After graduating, she held several previous roles for GHEI, which included work in fundraising, research, and Serve and Learn programming.

Kate is currently a pediatric resident at the Children’s Hospital of the University Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). She received her Bachelor of Arts from Cornell in 2010 and her Medical Degree from Penn State University in 2016. She is currently a part of the Pediatric Advocacy and Leadership Service (PALS) at UPMC as well as a Global Health Scholar through Penn State.
