Honestly though, having been fortunate to be a repeat visitor to Humjibre over the course of two years and seeing the positive changes in these Ghanaian faces, the most profound impact that it has had on me is how important community building is. That being said, it is so important to put differences aside when you work together on whatever common task that you may have. Plan ahead and build your relationships prior to embarking on your trip. This is an experience that will allow you to grow many years for every waking moment you spend in Humjibre.
