VOLUNTEER

Short-term Opportunities (two and a half week programs) - Be a part of a team that implements a short term project in the village of Humjibre. Anyone 18 or older can apply.

Program Coordinator Positions (thirteen months) - GHEI has two foreign program coordinators working in Humjibre at a time, with each focusing either on health or education. Each position carries significant responsibility, as each team member must perform well for GHEI's projects to be successful. GHEI requires that program coordinators have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent to apply and some academic or work experience in either education or health. Program coordinators are given free housing and a small stipend to subsidize the cost of volunteering with GHEI.
